It’s easy: You smash my cereal, I smash your face

It’s Wednesday again, so get out your nickels…it’s time for eBay roundup. Today we have a “funny darkey” postcard issued by the H-O Co, Buffalo, NY. This 100 year-old deliciously racist advertisement pictures Kornelia Kinks trying to escape her sister who has inadvertently wrapped a kite around one of Kornelia’s stilts. Oh my, it looks like that 5-cent box of cereal is going to get mighty roughed up…
Unfortunately for the girls in this relic, it looks like they are in for a world of hurt as an ominous voice belts out, “You smash dem Kinks I’ll spoil you’ face chile.” Don’t cross this one (off your list) or you’ll be sorry! Seller rarebookstore (99.9% positive feedback) is “ready to serve” this horrifying piece of Americana to you, or someone you love, for $5.99 + $1 shipping.
NOTE: Phrases such as “funny darkey” and “delicious malted flakes” are clearly not my own. They have been taken directly from the front (above) and back (not shown) of the postcard.
