Pass Me A Napkin My Cereal Is Sticky

Published Monday April 2, 2007 by Pat

Since we started this site, I have learned a lot about cereal. On my daily search for all cereal related news I discover grand new adventures in my wheat obsession. Today was no different than any other. I discovered that somewhere in Europe people put syrup on their cereal. Now I do not know if it is in place of milk or if they double down and go for broke.

Sipal Syrup A company by the name of Sipal Partners, headquartered in Belgium, is releasing an organic syrup for use with breakfast cereal. The syrup will be made from Kamut, which according to wikipedia has a sweet ‘governmentally classified’ sounding name of QK-77. And best of all its from Ancient Egypt! So if you were looking for a great way to add some sweet taste to your cereal do as google commands and swim over to Europe, they’ve got something for you.
