Demented Breakfast Cereal Treats: It started on January 30th 1993, in Seattle, at Andy’s 43rd birthday party and became an annual competition. The tradition lived strong for many years: ‘93, ‘98, ‘99, ‘00, ‘01, and ‘02. Unfortunately, all good things come to an end. More than five years have gone by since the last extravaganza and from the looks of it I think they’ve called it quits. They really had it all: from Worshipping the Molten Calf, the Venus de Milko, The Hindenberry (these three shown above)…to a monogrammed ping pong paddle, costumes, and of course Sally’s classic dish. They were right to call DBCT, “one of the defining moments of the twentieth century.” They were right.
