Kid Tested, Zombie Approved

It’s Wednesday again, so get your credit card primed…it’s time for eBay roundup! For a cereal that claims to be “Made For Kids” to make reference to “applied pschology” is one thing. To use a zombie-child (shown at right in a delightful pink get-up) in the ad-campaign, however, is pure genius. Back in 1958, Trix was apparently trying to find it’s identity. There was no colorful cartoon rabbit, there were no maniacal children, there was absolutely no reason to express happiness that early in the morning. And now YOU can own a piece of THIS history! Seller kims-vintage-ads (99.4% positive feedback) is asking $9.95 + $5 shipping for this beautifully dulled piece of paper from half a century ago.
NOTE TO TRIX: Five year old “women” are generally referred to as “girls.” And, yes, they need love, just like everyone else. Happy Valentine’s Day.
