FREE McDonald’s in your Cereal!

It’s Wednesday again, so strap on your rocket boots…it’s time for eBay roundup! Yesterday, Pat brought us the news that a Virgin Mary Cocoa Pebble was up for auction. Blasphemy, I say. If you want the real deal look no farther than this: an empty box of Raisin Nut Bran from 1990.
This is a relic from a different age, an age where the daily schedule went something like this: wake up, eat some Raisin Nut Bran, go to work, eat a bagged pickle, leave work, go to McDonald’s for some golden fries. Now-a-days this juxtaposition of cereal box to burger joint would never happen…and that’s exactly what makes this cardboard box such a collectible. Seller colusajohn (99.9% positive feedback) has this to say:
17 years ago I bought this box full of cereal in the super market. Now it is of course empty. This has been on a shelf all these years so the box is yellowed from age, smoke from stove, cigarettes, etc, etc. So all you anti-smokers please don’t bid on this even though I quit smoking 7 years ago I am sure you would probably still smell smoke, It will be sent priority in a priority box to protect this very rare item. It has a little tape and or glue to keep it closed.
Are you excited yet? If you are the first (and only) bidder you can have this piece of shit for $5 + $4.10 shipping. You have until March 2nd to bid. Go!
