Contest Reminder: I Hate Robot Chicken

Don’t think of Monday as the entombing of the weekend, think of it as the de-wombing of the newborn week! Yahoo! To start things off I would like to remind you of a contest reminder that I put up last week. Remember that reminder? It sure does remind me of the contest that ends this Wednesday. I wish I didn’t work for this site I could win those fabulous prizes. Sigh…

This is as good a forum as any to express how much I hate the show Robot Chicken. If you don’t know what show I’m talking about then I encourage you to move on with your life. If you’ve never seen it, but you think the name of the show is stupid, well that’s half the battle and we can still be friends. Robot Chicken is horribly written and inane to the point of indignation. I’ve had this argument before but I’ll swear on the late great Lester Borchardt’s bigass size 22s that there is nothing inherently funny or remotely clever about making a reference to something. It’s a great potential vessel for a joke or an observation but Robot Chicken just clots up the haha bloodstream with farts and monkeys and smurfs (remember smurfs? lol).
My head is going to explode, but I’m enjoying this so I will keep going. There is a subtle difference between amusing irreverence and bemusing stupidity. You can reconstruct CerealBlogger if it were authored by the writers of Robot Chicken rather easily. Get rid of 90% of the jokes, underline the ones that are left so they are easy to identify, and make sure to have something about Transformers who are also Lawyers (remember lawyers? lol). Lastly, just cut off each post early because it’s easier than finding a way to
Besides the fact that spamming your lame ass blog is asinine. To be blunt, your blog and this post sucks. Robot Chicken is a great and hilarious show. I’d like to see your great hilarious show, oh what’s this, you don’t have one? Well no wonder you’re writing shitty posts, because you don’t have the comedy talent to write a sketch show, although you think you know what is humor.
Also you make me laugh at how you try to use big words to make your post seem more credible and not retarded.

adult swim is supposed to be for adults but most shows on it only a child would think is funny

robot chicken is a sick twisted show, not funny, offensive, disturbing, and creepy. Do not even pay attention to any body who says good things about it
Robot chicken is an atrocious attempt at comedy. Back in 2000 some film students used stop/go animation with G.I. Joes and other action figures and put out something similar as Robot Chicken on the net . The untalented Seth Green pretty much stole the idea (which was not funny in the first place,) and banked off it. I have never laughed at a single skit on the show, and have never seen a skit whose premise wasn’t based on the concept of “Hey, remember…” Seth Green should kill himself.
I agree with you completely, robot chicken is just one big headache filled mesh of lame jokes and destroyed child hood memories. The show reminds me of a very lame cartoon still running on nickelodeon; fairly odd parents!
They have the same style of random humor, reference to somthing and bam! instant comedy!
I don’t mean family guy random humor either, family guy rocks! I’m disgusted by the fact that after adult swim gets through airing an hour of quality entertainment they ruin my good mood with this crappy excuse for a show every night.

Robot Chicken sucks!
the show is always a complete disappointment. it takes so much time and effort to create claymation and to waste it on jokes that usually are ineffective pisses me off and I wish it was just replaced with something better.
ugh robot chicken is the worst television show. every time it comes on i am surprised and i have to ask myself “this show is still on???”
i’m compelled to believe that those who think the show is funny actually have no personality, and/or they dont have the time or imagination to develop a real sense of humor.
can we let this show die now please???
I have never liked an episode of Robot Chicken. It’s nothing more than a rip off of other terrible ideas. I’d much rather watch reruns of The Munsters or Hogan’s Heroes. Robot Chicken represents all that is wrong with humor. One line jokes that require no intelligent thought process are simple for those who have no thought process to begin with. As for tweaq requesting to see someone else’s funny show, well had we a funny show to start with then perhaps his post would be more relevant.
I also do not want to begin with Seth Green’s lake of talent. I cannot name one good movie he has done…oh that’s correct Seth Green hasn’t had a led role in a movie. His closest would be either an Austin Powers movie of Billions for Boris in 1984, of course no one is aware of Billions for Boris and he didn’t win any awards for Austin Powers. I enjoy a majority of the Adult Swim lineup, however Robot Chicken has got to go. Or at the very least put it at the beginning on the line up so I can get by not watching it and actually view something humorous. After all if its at the beginning then the children can watch it then go to bed.
This show is terrible. Seth green is a douche. He does family guy and either takes the idea from the family guy show and does the same exact thing on robot chicken. Or he takes his ideas from RC and puts them on family guy.. so stupid.. Its a poorly written show for people will LOW IQ’s.. SO enjoy middle america!!!!!

i think the majority of the robot chickens are pretty funny , the thing is.. the show is only on for 15 min. so i expect only funny material and have been let dow quite a bit… kind of like what aqua teen does sometimes.. even weed doesnt make EVERYTHING funny
