Published Tuesday February 6, 2007 by Dan
News Blast! The first official CerealBlogger contest has begun! The rules are easy, the prizes are fantastic, and the memories you make along the way will last a thousand lifetimes.
The rules:
- Write a haiku about your favorite cereal
- Post it in the comments below
- Be sure to use a valid email address otherwise you forfeit your claim to any prizes
- Only 1 entry per person
- Relax and enjoy the excruciating wait…
- You have until 3pm EST Sunday, Feb 11 to enter
- Winners will be announced on Monday, Feb 12
3 Lucky winners will walk away with an AUTOGRAPHED box of their favorite cereal, signed by all of us here at CB. We will be giving away 3 prizes: 1 to the author of the best haiku, 1 to the author of the funniest haiku, and 1 to a randomly selected lucky guy or gal who may not have the most talent but certainly tried their best.
You must provide a valid email address and verify it in order for your entry to be posted. If you win, you will have 15 days to get back to us with your mailing info. Note that if we can’t figure out what cereal you are writing about and you end up winning, we will send you a NON-AUTOGRAPHED box of cat food instead.
Here is an example by Me:
round and oaty, like
a bundt pan filled with porridge,
your box is yellow
