Breast is Best

I didn’t want to be the first to broach the subject, so luckily Gerber has taken that awkward responsibility from me. Any guesses as to what they recommend as a baby’s first solid food? I’ll give you a moment to read the banner at the top of the page…
That’s right, baby! Cereal. Cereal served with a few teaspoons of milk from the breast of a human female.
“Breast milk and formula will continue to give your baby the essential vitamins he needs during his first year, and solid foods will complement that nutrition. When your baby is ready, single-ingredient baby cereals like rice make a perfect introduction. And they’re fortified with the additional iron your growing baby may need.”
The same industry that took a stand for prenatal care (briefly) now has a large role in post natal pre-lunch feeding. Maybe that’s why we all love cereal. I know Freud does.
I know you may feel like your life makes a little too much sense now, and if so then you’re reading the wrong blog. That’s what we do. Remember how blissfully ignorant you were before we told you where cereal comes from? Or what that thing was that your dad keeps in his lunch pail? It’s all a part of growin’ up (Gotti).
So next time you have a question about life don’t ask mom, don’t ask dad, ask us. We’ll give you the answer straight, without sugar coating it. We may frosting coat it though (hehe). Be sure to keep me busy with all your questions or else my wife will ask me to paint the garage, and she’s been dead for fourteen years!!

This post has an amazing form that convinces me I must’ve learned something….and yet, I feel stupider. three strokes of genius, and a dead body.
