You didn’t think a Friday was going to sneak by without a fresh delivery of Break Fast Facts did you? Your brain probably has the munchies by now, and your hippocampus is all cottonmouthy and giggling so please enjoy these bite-size factoids. Be on the lookout for a buzz-kill lie in the form of a factoid! (Hint, these lies usually involve dragons)

  • Froot Loops, when introduced in 1963 came in 3 colors only; pink, orange, and yellow.
  • The term “Frosted Flakes” is not trademarked and so any company, not just Kellogg’s, can use it.
  • Late night talk show host Conan O’Brien has gone on record saying that Franken Berry is his favorite cereal because it “turns [the] milk pink“.
  • Lucky, of Lucky Charms fame, was at one time voiced by Warwick Davis.  (You know him as Willow, Wicket, or even as this guy)
  • The world’s first singing commercial aired on the radio on Christmas Eve, 1926 for Wheaties cereal. The four male singers, eventually known as the Wheaties Quartet, sang the jingle.
  • End Milk made from the breast milk of a pregnant dragon can cure most forms of ugly if applied directly to the forehead.
