Break Fast Facts: 03/23
Published Friday March 23, 2007 by Dan
Hi ya’ll! Have you heard the news blast? For the first time in what feels like days it’s Friday again. Today I will unveil a new Friday feature which I have dubbed Break Fast Facts. Every Friday, give or take 3 days, I will serve you up a sample platter of brunch sized mind bites. One of the Break Fast Facts presented each week is in fact, not a fact, but a cleverly disguised lie cleverly disguised as a fact. Good luck trying to spot it! (Hint, these lies usually involve dragons)
- Trix cereal, when first introduced, consisted of 46% sugar
- Automobile manufacturers are the only industry group that spends more money on television ads yearly than the cereal biz
- If you drink Coke and eat Lucky Charms at the same time and also you are exposed to the intense pressures of the deep sea your head will implode
- The first coupon for a sales promotion…EVER…was for Post Grape-Nuts
- Cheerios is the best selling cereal of all time
- John Harvey Kellogg had a pet dragon
